![]() Violence is absolutely not tolerated in my home. A hug and an open ear goes a long way sometimes. I also do not discipline children in any fashion. I would describe my home and the environment as clean(not always tidy with kids running about) safe, caring and relaxed (I don't cry about spilled milk or writing on the wall). I do need to update my CPR and first aid but I am no stranger to the safety and precautions when it comes to little ones. I have a limited personal kids library collection but I do trips to the local library every week to keep them entertained. Limited screen time here but a movie night is fun as well. If weather permits, I like to walk to our local parks or sit outside with the kids in my yard on our mini jungle gym. I never have more than 6 kids at one time, at any given time. My home is a safe haven for kids to just play and enjoy themselves while away from caregivers and or parents. In my home care for kids age 0-6 during the day. They have been like a second family to my little boy as he has grown from an infant into a wonderful young man. They have cameras in all rooms and outside the building to monitor staff and children. In the years we have been with them there has been ONE problem with a staff personal and that was swiftly taken care of and all parents were given letters explaining what had happened. Licensed, certified, and all the legal and safety requirements you can think of. The price is great for such a wonderful place. The school bus picks up the older kids right next to the building! Safe and convenient! He still goes to AEL for before/after school care. It gave him a huge leap forward as he headed into elementary in another school. My son attended AEL's final kindergarten class (teacher retired). I only wish they could update the playground. :) It is a wonderful daycare and we have had no complaints with the staff whatsoever. You certainly do not need to be Christian to have a child attend here. My son (7 yrs old now) has gone to AEL since before he could walk. I'm a little surprised that there aren't any reviews about AEL on here yet. Children learn by music, color, dance, arts and crafts and most important by example. We build each other up through teamwork and cheering each other on. Every child should be praised for good behavior and encouraged to do their best. I strive to teach each child to be a student of excellence. I believe in teaching academics from the beginning of life. They should feel safe in their environment and feel free to express themselves. Children need to be nurtured and should be taught the basic fundamentals of everyday living. They deserve to be loved, cared for, and taught morals and values that will benefit them in their future. I believe all children are precious and a gift from God. I'm located off of Virginia Beach Blvd in TOWN CENTER I have Criminal Background clearance and I am CPR and First Aid Certification. Your child will receive plenty of one on one time with me. I provide care in a safe, loving and nurturing home. I am a Daycare Provider with over 20 years experience. It was an amazing transition between maternity leave and then them graduating to a "big-kid" daycare. ![]() If there are any more children in my future, they will only go to Pamela for their first 15 months. Diapers, formula, food, sheets.every thing is provided which made my life so much easier. She only takes 3 children at one time which I loved since each baby can receive quality care. She also has the Newton mattresses (the 100% breathable ones-look them up, they are amazing!) so I never had to worry about my newborn napping out of my sight! She is licensed which is very rare for small in-home daycares. Pamela is constantly providing individual care based on individual needs-such as ordering a specific kind of formula that I wanted, our type of pacis, and following our daughter's schedule. She goes above and beyond for all the kids and it shows in my daughter when I drop her off every day and see her smile. I needed a small quality-focused daycare and Pamela has made sure every need of my daughters has been met.and then some. I was not ready to send my 3 month old to a large daycare with a classroom of 12 babies. I was so nervous sending my newborn to daycare and I could not have found a better fit for my daughter. I feel extremely lucky to have found Pamela.
